Shri Ram Chandra Mission is a worldwide non-profit founded on the principles of Sahaj Marg — a simple, natural path of heart-based meditation. For over seven decades, we have welcomed seekers of every background to experience inner balance, mindful living, and universal brotherhood.
Through quiet daily practice and freely shared guidance, we help individuals reconnect with the stillness within and carry that calm into every part of life.

Shri Ram Chandra Mission was established in Shahjahanpur, North India in 1945. It offers the simple and unique Heartfulness Meditation rooted in Sahaj Marg, serving seekers of spirituality in over 100 countries across every continent.
These worldwide centres gather to celebrate the birth anniversaries of the gurus, host seminars, and provide spiritual education, research and training for inner growth.
Amid the din and hustle of the outside world, people are feeling a deep inner call of the heart to retreat to solace — our ashrams worldwide offer this opportunity in an environment of purity and serenity.
VISITING AN ASHRAM

An ashram is a place where you can step away from the world and go deeply into your practice. SRCM has ashrams in Europe, North America, Africa, Oceania, South-East Asia and many across India. The World Headquarters of SRCM is at the Babuji Memorial Ashram, Chennai, India.
Ashrams also host thousands of people annually to celebrate the birth anniversaries of the gurus of Sahaj Marg — events with a unique atmosphere that offer a special opportunity for introspection and spiritual growth.

GUIDANCE
Shri Kamlesh D. Patel — Daaji.
Kamlesh D Patel, known as Daaji to his followers, is the global guide of the Heartfulness movement and president of the Shri Ram Chandra Mission. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan, the third highest civilian award of the Republic of India for Distinguished Service of high order in the field of spirituality on the day in 2023 by the India Government. Daaji was named the Commonwealth's Global Ambassador for Peace building and Faith in March 2024.
Daaji is the fourth in a century-old lineage of spiritual masters. He weaves his personal experience with a deep respect for global spiritual traditions and scientific inquiry. A former pharmacist in New York, he now guides spiritual seekers worldwide, dedicating his time to exploring consciousness with a practical, scientific approach.
