Membership Card for India (AIMS)

All Abhyasis are required to have either introductory card (yellow card) or Permanent ID card to enter Ashrams and to be able to attend Bhandaras.

New Abhaysis are issued an introductory card (yellow card) by the membership coordinator of the nodal center, immediately after he/she starts the practice and has filled out the Abhyasi Introduction Form (AIF). It is mandatory for all new abhyasis to fill Abhyasi Introduction Form (AIF). The membership nodal centers use a computer based membership database program, called the Abhyasi Information Management System (AIMS) to maintain abhyasi information. Membership program coordinators also use AIMS system to electronically apply for permanent ID cards to Bangalore ID card HQ system. Please contact your center-in-charge or id card in-charge for AIF form.

Abhyasis who have been practicing Sahaj Marg regularly for 6 months may apply for a permanent SRCM ID card, and should approach the local Center-in-Charge or Membership-Coordinator/id card in-charge for this process.  A passport size color photograph will be required.  Membership coordinators at the nodal centers collect the photographs and donation towards card processing, and use the AIMS application to process the application for the permanent SRCM ID card.

Note: The average processing time of a new ID card is about 2-3 months from the date of receipt of the application at HQ. In case your application is pending for longer than 3 months, please check with your local centre-in-charge/id card in-charge or designated membership coordinator.
