The Constitution of the organization includes the following objects:



To provide a means whereby all interested persons seeking spiritual development in the Sahaj Marg philosophy of Raj Yoga can come together in the name of Shri Ram Chandra Mission and its branches for meditation, discussion and research. To promote the feelings of mutual love and universal brotherhood, irrespective of race, religion, or social and educational standing.

 

Shri Ram Chandra Mission provides instruction in the Sahaj Marg system of raja yoga, a non-denominational system of meditation. The prescribed practice includes daily individual meditation and cleaning, weekly group meditation followed by a spiritual reading or talk, and regular individual meditation sittings with a preceptor.

Training and practice in Sahaj Marg are free of charge. Participation is open to all over eighteen years of age. The only qualification is a genuine and abiding interest in spiritual growth and the willingness to participate.
